The week-by-week training process of our Forex trading course is highlighted in red during each phase.

Phase 1 - Online Learning Center

The Trading institute utilizes state of the art online training technology to teach people in a step-by-step fashion how to trade the forex market. Our Forex trading course offers every online advantage you need to facilitate your learning.

In the first phase of our Forex trading course you will review the initial 5 online training modules. Each module can be viewed directly online via our password protected web site.

Week 1:

• Your objective during Phase 1 of the Forex trading course is not to over do it. First, you will be thoroughly reviewing all of the Forex trading course modules. Students should be spending a couple hours a day evaluating the information.

Here is a syllabus of the 5 online training modules:

1. Getting Started -- In this lesson you will learn:

•  The psychology of trading.
•  The essential elements of the forex.
•  Understanding market conditions.
•  How to identify high probability entry points.
•  How to consistently take a profit.
•  Why traders fail.

2. Equity Management -- In this lesson you will learn:

• How to pursue trading as a business.
• Capital preservation.
• High probability trading windows.
• The best currency pairs to trade.

3. The Thinslice Worksheet -- In this lesson you will learn:

• How to anticipate your entry points.
• The Thinslice worksheet.
• Creating the trading ritual.

Here is the reality of most popular forex strategies such as pennants, crowns, gartleys and fibonnacci extensions. They take days to identify and occur infrequently.

The Thinslice Trading Strategies of our Forex trading course occur typically everyday. Average time in a trade is 77 minutes. Accuracy when correctly applied is over 70%.

4. The Core Four

In this section of our Forex trading course, you will learn the “core four” trading strategies. These high probability strategies occur every single day in the forex market. In this module you will learn step-by-step how to correctly and consistently identify these powerful forex trading strategies.

These strategies are called the core four because of the high rate of occurrence. Each offers a high potential for profit. Precise and powerful. Once you learn these you will not want to trade anything else.

5. The Final Four

Just as powerful as the core four. The frequency is slightly less. Add these to your forex trading arsenal and you will never look back. These will be your “final four” strategies of the Forex trading course.

Week 2:

• At the end of Phase 1 of our Forex trading course, students must prepare and should be primed for class sessions. Students should review a recording of the 6-hour class and also a recording of the Wednesday session. These Forex trading course sessions are archived in the online learning center. At this point, it is also recommended to go back and watch the training modules again.
• During these first two weeks of our Forex trading course, the intent is to simply get comfortable with our trading language, to get an overview of the strategies, and to prepare for live online class sessions. We do not recommend any demo trading during this phase of the Forex trading course. This is where you will be reviewing the live market in order to get comfortable with the price activity.

Phase 2 - Online Live Market Training Class

The second part of the Forex trading course is a six-hour live Web based interactive training session where you see the concepts and strategies applied to a real time market. This class is held via web conference so you can participate from the comfort of your own home.

Week 3:

• Ideally by Phase 2 of the Forex trading course you’re at a point where you now can attend the live 6-hour online class. It is essential that you attend an actual live session. If you consistently just watch the recordings, you will not get the most out of the Forex trading course.

Week 4:

• Students of our Forex trading course now should have attended a 6-hour online class. It is time to watch the market and begin to develop your skills in relationship to the first three strategies. This can be accomplished by attending a weekly Wednesday live market trading session. Still no demo trading! This is a time to observe only. It is essential to avoid creating any bad habits that may interfere with your newly acquired technique.

Week 5:

• To get ready for Phase 3, it is time to practice identifying and confirming the right entry point. Still no demo trading! Once again, do not over do it. A key reason the learning process takes longer, which seemingly may be counterintuitive to novice traders, is due to spending too much time watching the market.

Phase 3 - Practice Trading. Live weekly Sessions

In our Forex trading course, once a week you can attend our 90 minute live market trading session. Watch us identify live market entry points. Build your confidence and knowledge. These sessions are 100% interactive as well. You will get the real experience of what trading is all about. You will receive unlimited access. View a sample here

In addition to the live market trading sessions, you will also be able to access our fee-based, monthly subscriber service, Morning Cup of FX. This session runs from 8:30-9:30am each morning. During this session, there is an analysis of the four major currency pairs as it relates to the Thinslice Trading methodology.

Week 6:

• In Phase 3 of our Forex trading course, it is now time to start trading. By now, you should have attended the live 6-hour online class. You also should have attended two live Wednesday practice sessions. Students should seriously consider trading using live capital at the smallest level to now achieve your 10 positive trades in a row.
• It is a fact that people take this phaseof the Forex trading course more seriously when trading with real money. Here is why:
  • You will trade less.
  • You will be more selective with the trades you take.
  • The habits you develop at this point by trading real money will be stronger.
  • In summary, you will trade less, trade better, and achieve the 10 positive trades in a row in a shorter period of time.

Phase 4 - 1 on 1 Support

Still need help? Our Forex trading course offers unlimited 1-on-1 support. Schedule a weekly 30-minute support session to have your charts viewed and your application of the techniques reviewed. Access to 1-on-1 support in our Forex trading course is via web conference and with live market activity.

Week 7:

• It is time for our Forex trading course students to start sending some screenshots of their trades. One or two shots are sufficient. It is critical that Steve Rising, your mentor and CEO of The Trading Institute, gets a chance to evaluate how you are applying the strategies. After reviewing the screenshots, he can evaluate where you are at on the learning curve and then together you can schedule a 1-on-1 session.
• In closing, this training timeline for our Forex trading course is an ideal scenario. Students are advised to take it seriously. The Trading Institute realizes everyone learns at a different pace. Everyone has various levels of experience with the markets, but it is important to put your ego aside, take your time, be patient, and the learning curve will actually be shorter. It is better to take the Forex trading course slowly in the beginning, rather than rush through the process, because inevitably you will wind up taking one step forward and two steps back if you go too fast. Remember, if you follow the training process as outlined, you will be successful and we guarantee it.

Phase 5 - Onsite Live Market Class

Included in the cost of the Forex trading course is our 2- day onsite class. Attend this 2-day intensive class and take your trading to the next level. We encourage you to wait 60-90 days into the program before attending the class, since this will allow you to be familiar with the methodology and have some real world trading experiences
